Obituary

Thomas W. Holley, 67, of Germantown, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017, at Ohio's Hospice of Butler and Warren County, Franklin. He was born March 7, 1950, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Howard and Ethel Young Holley. He was a member of the West Carrollton Masonic Lodge # 737, F & A. M., the Antioch Shrine of West Carrollton, the Ancient and Accepted Order of the Scottish Rite (A.A.S.R.) Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, USA, 32nd Degree Mason, Valley of Dayton, the Moose Lodge, Miamisburg, and a former member of the Dayton Trans Am Club. He was previously employed at Lewis & Michel Movers, Otto Bock, St. Elizabeth Hospital Security, and as a bus driver for St. Leonard's. He is survived by his wife Carol (Gebhart) Holley, whom he married, September 6, 1969, a daughter, Carol (Westley) Rucker, Moraine, three grandchildren, Heather Nicole Rucker, Bonnie Elizabeth Rucker, and Thomas William Matthew Rucker, four brothers, Franklin Holley, Florida, Lawrence (Rose) Holley, and Floyd Holley, of Xenia, Richard (Becky) Holley, Hillsboro, a sister, May (Max) Whittington, Jamestown,  by numerous nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a sister, Sherry Williams. Services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, April 5, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home, with Masonic Services at 8pm. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
