Vava Dorene Wheeler, 84, gained her angel wings on Mother's Day May 8, 2022. What a wonderful gift to be given to a special Mom, Granny, wife and friend on a day that honors her. Dorene is preceded in death by her soulmate and husband of 53 years, Wayne Allen Wheeler. Dorene's pride and joy came in watching her children Renee Kidd and Tonya (Roland) Kreml raise their families with 4 grandchildren Jessie (Tim) White, Shelby Mass, Tara and Wayne Kreml along with 2 great-grandchildren Elijah and Phoebe White. Born and raised in Wrigley, KY by Albert and Ludy Kidd. Dorene is preceded in death by both parents and siblings Troy, Kenneth, Virginia Barker, and Marvin. She is survived by a sister Shirley Jennings and many nieces and nephews. Dorene and Wayne touched the lives of so many with their concession business and love for helping others. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her and fondly remembered as a lady who always put others first and did so with a smile. Private graveside services will be held by the family in Spring Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family ask for donations to be made to a hospice of choice.
