Virginia E. "Ginnie" Carey, 72, of Xenia, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017, at her residence. She was born September 29, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Franklin Richard and June Householder Ervin. She is survived by her husband, William E. "Bill" Carey, whom she married, April 11, 1964, a son, Robert (Glenda) Carey, Xenia, a granddaughter, Aleisha Carey., a brother, Richard (Beverly) Ervin, Bellbrook, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,  Paul (Pam) Carey, Kettering, and Marguerite (Mike) Hacker, Houston, TX, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a sister, Sandy White. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
