Vittorio (Vic) M.A. Saccone, 85, of Fairborn, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Legacy Village Rehab and Assisted Living, Xenia. A Fairborn area resident for many years, he was born in Grafton, West Virginia, on March 18, 1931, the son of the late Ludovico and Gaetana Saccone. Mr. Saccone was a retired Air Force Master Sergeant, and was also retired from Civil Service at WPAFB. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. Survivors include his wife, Louise; a son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Jackie Saccone of Memphis, TN; a granddaughter, Adrianna, of Downers Grove, IL; a sister, Anna Marie D'Argenio, of Avellino, Italy; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Beauford Mash, of Xenia; and a number of nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mildred and Robert Miller, and Vincenzo D'Argenio. Services will be held at 11am, Monday, July 18, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Pastor Keven Wentworth officiating. Visitation will be held from 10am Monday, until service time. Burial will be in Silvercreek Township Cemetery, Jamestown.
