Wanda L. Elam, 90, of Xenia, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.

She was born November 19, 1934, in Nicholasville, Kentucky, the daughter of Andrew and Sylvia James Willhoite. She attended Lighthouse Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Danny (Cindy) Elam and Tommy (Kris) Elam, 11 grandchildren, Jeremy (Stephanie) Moore, Todd Moore, Candice Smalley, Katelyn (John) Jamason, Tabitha Elam, Tyler Elam,Tristan Elam, Aaron Elam, Alex (Elyse) Elam, Jasmine Spiller, and Justin (Willow) Spiller, 23 great-grandchildren,  by numerous nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.

She loved walking, painting, reading and playing bingo with her friends at Wright Cycle Estates, where she resided for numerous years. "Special thanks to her friends, Ms. Jay and Ms. Deloris."

She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, Hugh Johnson, her husband, Robert Elam, in 1975, a son, Terry Elam, two grandsons, Ryan Elam and Joshua Conn, a sister, Doris Murphy, and by three brothers, Delbert Willhoite, Clarence Willhoite, Roger Dale Johnson.

Wanda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Private services will be held by the family in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia.
