Wayne Allen Wheeler parted this life Saturday, June 12, 2021, and is now on the other side with the Lord. The son of Ruth Ala (Barnhart) Wheeler and Harry Allen Wheeler both deceased. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Emma Jean Hughes, and by a brother, David Wheeler. He is survived by his wife Vava Dorene (Kidd) Wheeler, daughter Tonya Michelle (Wheeler) Kreml, step-daughter Lora Renee (Porter) Kidd, son-in-law Roland Kreml, Jr., granddaughters Tara Kreml, Jessie White ( Tim) and Shelby Mass. Grandson Wayne Kreml. And great grandchildren Elijah and Phoebe White. Also surviving are his brothers Joe (Doris) Wheeler, and Warren Wheeler. Wayne and his wife were dedicated to helping others. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving in the US Army 1952-1954. He served as Spring Valley Township Trustee 1974-78. Wayne was a charter member of the Spring Valley Lions Club and a Past Master of the New Burlington Masonic Lodge #574. Wayne retired from Dayton Coca-Cola after 30 years and he and Dorene managed a successful concession business for over 15 years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Spring Valley Fire Department or Spring Valley United Methodist Church. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
