Wendell G. Burnett, 93, of Xenia, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022, at Harmony of Xenia. He was born November 25, 1928, in Jamestown, Ohio, the son of Charles and Etha Miller Burnett. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War. He is survived by a son, Kent Burnett, Xenia, by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty J (Dear) Burnett, on January 18, 2002, a son, Wendell G. "Butch"  Burnett, Jr., and by two brothers, Lawrence Burnett and Don Burnett. Graveside services will be held at 11am, Friday, June 17, in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a favorite charity in his memory.
