Brooks, William M. (Bill), 69, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024. He was born in Xenia, Ohio, on August 20, 1954, the son of William and Barbara (Ferguson) Brooks. Bill was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Becky (Crabtree) Brooks, whom he married September 7, 2001, brother David Brooks, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Brooks, and both of his parents.  Bill was an avid outdoorsman – hunting and fishing as often as possible.  A selfless, loyal friend and husband, Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
