William L. Chenoweth, 77, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Soin Medical Center, Beavercreek. He was born May 12, 1939, in Oregonia, Ohio, the son of Dennis W. and Martha Edna (Curtis) Chenoweth. He was a member of the Spring Valley Baptist Church, and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the Oldtimer's Club, and a founding member of the Greene County Antique Car Club.  He was formerly employed at NCR, and was a lifelong Greene County farmer. He is survived by his wife, Patricia E. (Sanders) Chenoweth, whom he married, December 16, 1960, his children, Brenda Chenoweth, Xenia, Timothy (Tammy) Chenoweth,  and Beth Arthur, of Jamestown, nine grandchildren, Robert Ben Conn, Ashley Chenoweth, Heather (Nick) Howell, Zackery Penewit, Adam Chenoweth, Amber Chenoweth, Timothy Arthur, Jr., Nick DeWalt, and Jessica Arthur, 6 great-grandchildren, T.J., Elijah, Cloey, Tyler, Nate, and Brittney, by several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Lori Chenoweth, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law, Timothy P. Arthur, three sisters, Dorothy Pitzer, Linda Applegate, and Harriet Klontz, and by a brother, Donald Eugene Chenoweth. Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services will be held at 10am, Monday, June 20, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Sunday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Silvercreek Township Cemetery, Jamestown.
