Obituary

William Charles "Bill" Eskew, 71, of Beavercreek, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Soin Medical Center. He was born November 13, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Charles W. and Nancy Mezger Eskew. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Randall) Eskew, whom he married, December 21, 1968, two sons, Jason (Cheryl) Eskew, Beavercreek, and Adam (Cassie) Eskew, Smyrna, GA, four grandchildren, Kyle Eskew, Claire Eskew, Jacob Eskew, and Lucy Eskew, a sister, Mary Beth Eskew, Doylestown, PA, a sister-in-law, Beverly (Russ) Charlton, Bellbrook and by many close friends. Bill graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1964 where he excelled in baseball, football and basketball and was inducted in the Beavercreek Athletic Hall of Fame in 2005.  He received a bachelor's degree from Wright State University and a Masters degree from Ball State University.  In addition to being a successful Entrepreneur focused on environmental consulting, he was active in the community and dedicated countless hours to coaching youth baseball.  Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Barbara and Bill Eskew's lives will be held at 3pm, Sunday, May 5, at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Reverend Dr. Keith Wagner officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 8050 Hosbrook Rd., Suite 314, Cincinnati, OH, 45236-2902 in his memory.
