William L. Kidder, 79, of Xenia, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Greene Memorial Hospital. He was born December 16, 1937, in Yellow Springs, Ohio, the son of Roy and Ruby Gasho Kidder. He was a 1956 graduate of Xenia Central High School and a veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from DP & L and enjoyed many travels over the years around the world. He is survived by two daughters, Sally Sue Kidder and Ruthie Harphant, of Xenia, Russell Kidder, Grants Pass, OR, Rudy Kidder, of Norfolk, VA, and Randy Kidder, Dayton, 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, a sister, Rozella Dawkins, Xenia, a brother, Richard Kidder, Columubus, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a brother, Charles Kidder. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
