Dr. William Kinsey Neeld, 39, of 930 Oak Dale Dr., Amlin Hts, a Xenia physician for six years, died at his residence Saturday evening after suffering a sudden attack. He had been engaged in the general practice of medicine since April 1967, with offices at 1237 N. Monroe Dr., and was a member of the staff of Greene Memorial Hospital. Born in Xenia Aug. 11, 1933, he was the son of William A. and Virginia Kinsey Neeld. He attended Xenia Schools, graduating from Xenia High School in 1951, and spent four years in the United States Navy's aviation branch as an electronics engineer during the Korean War. Dr. Neeld was a graduate of the University of Dayton with a bachelor of science degree in 1962 and received his medical degree from The Ohio State University in 1966. He completed his internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was a member of Westminster United Presbyterian Church, the Xenia Elks Lodge, the American Medical Association and the Greene County Medical Society. Survivors include his widow, the former Faith Bowen, whom he married Nov. 24, 1960; his daughter, Regina Bowen Neeld at home; two sons, Mitchell Kinsey and Curtis William Neeld, both at home, three sisters, Mrs. James (Nancy) Nickell of Laurel, MD, Mrs. Richardl (Peggy) Dirckson of Garrett, IN, and Mrs. Ralph (Linda) Acosta of San Juan, Puerto Rico, a half-sister, Miss Twila K. Neeld of Xenia, three brothers, Thomas R. and Richard W. Neeld, both of Xenia, and Robert H. Neeld of Chillicothe, and a half-brother, Bruce A. Neeld of Xenia. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Neeld Funeral Home, 106 w. Market St., Xenia, with Rev. Gordon Kester officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. Visitation at the funeral home will be 5-9pm Tuesday. Contributions may be made to the intensive care united of Greene Memorial Hospital in his memory.
