Yoshi Waulk, 88, of Jamestown, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 23, 1934, in Misato-son, Okinawa, the daughter of Guho and Nae Inafuku. She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Waulk, whom she married, January 24, 1956, daughters, Susan Young (Tom Guess), Patricia Scott (Brad Hensley), Shelby (Tony) Goodbar, sons, Charlie Waulk (June Steiner), Richard (Nancy) Waulk, Robert (Sarah) Waulk, a daughter-in-law, Jean Waulk, 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, James Lee Waulk, a brother and three sisters. Yoshi was a talented seamstress and had a thriving business upholstering furniture. She was an avid gardener with two green thumbs. Her house was always filled with her children, then grandchildren. When she was unable to be outside, she enjoyed knitting, playing solitaire, and yahtzee. Yoshi will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at 11am, Monday, May 15, at Jamestown Presbyterian Church with Rev. R. Michael Helling officiating. Visitation will be held from 10am Monday, until service time. Burial will be in Silvercreek Township Cemetery, Jamestown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Jamestown Presbyterian Church 61 W.
