Zella M. Potter, 93, of Xenia, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015, at Liberty Nursing Center. She was born August 4, 1921, in Xenia, Ohio, the daughter of Harvey and Margaret Welch Perdue. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, June Potter, Xenia, three grandchildren, Kim (Don) Freels, Xenia, Tammy Guess, and Rhonda (Allen) Teeters, all of Jamestown, numerous great-grandchildren, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Henry Potter in 1952, two sons, William Harvey Potter and John Allen Potter, two sisters, Hazel Davey and Bertha Beiling, and by a brother, Russell Perdue. Graveside services will be held at 3pm, Tuesday, March 17, at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia, with Rev. Ronald Swiger officiating. There will be no visitation.
